Simple hot sauce - salsa - recipe that's great tasting! 1. One 8 to 14 ounce can of tomato paste or canned tomatos. Pour the contents into a blender or food processor. 2. Slice one jalapeno into thin slices on a cutting board. Scrape the slices and seeds into the blender or food processor. 3. Cut a lime in half and squeeze the half lime into the blender. 4. Blend the mix until the jalapeno bits are chopped up very finely. Sample taste to see if the jalapeno heat suits your taste. 5. Slice 1/8 to 1/4 th of an onion into small bits on a cutting board and put into the food processor - do not blend it yet. 6. Put other (optional) things like cilantro into the blender mix. 7. When through adding the other things, briefly run the blender a second or two to mix the contents. The onions must remain as whole chunks for best flavor.
